Branding Packaging Infographics Print Design Signage Restaurant & Takeaway

This delicious company came to PHd as they wanted their puddings and
milkshakes to look tasty! We were only too happy to help, and the brand
we created is one of our favourites, working fabulously and looking
delectable on everything from menu’s, cups, and building livery.

The branding focused on clean soft lines, with visuals of both the ice
cream scoops and the straw of the milkshakes built in. The vibrant
colour scheme was used to add vitality and to represent all the crazy
flavours available. We added infographic icons to the branding to make
understanding the options, and ordering that little bit easier… Yum!

Branding is important to everyone, but especially in food and drink
when you have to make passers by have a physical reaction (hunger and
thirst), and that’s what this project delivered. ‘Love the branding,

Purecloud Solutions

Infographics Branding Telecoms & Communication

Purecloud is full of very clever people creating clever new ‘things’.
However sadly these were a little tricky for us normal humans to
understand! Our job was to understand, translate and show customers
why they need what Purecloud are creating… we love these puzzles!

The great thing about this infographic (other than giving them a tool to
explain what they could do, how it worked, and what benefits it
offered) is that once created it could be used everywhere. This went on
to be used on office signage, livery, emails, adverts, exhibition stands,
leaflets and I doubt that’s where it’ll end… it’s proved to be really useful!

Perspective Opticians

Branding Print Design Opticians

The thing with opticians is they really see the details! That’s why
Perspective employed PHd design to update their brand, evolving their
longstanding brand into something more eye catching! So happy were
they with our work, we’ve been creating a huge range of marketing
solutions ever since, what a spectacle!

Once the logo was created, we set up a strikingly simple branding
scheme from this… as often is the way this practical, consistent and
uncomplicated approach, has helped hugely. They now can create new
items quickly and cost effectively, building an arsenal of recognisable
marketing material that helps maintain their existing customer base, as
well as enticing a new assortment of patrons!

Othello 4 Martin James

Branding Print Design Office Equipment

Othello 4 Martin James sell office equipment, clothing, safety stuff and promo gifts, as well
as offering services such as printing, shredding and office re-fits. Such a wide range of
services required some clever graphic design to ensure their branding was clear, attractive
and memorable. After talking to a few designers, PHd design were (wisely) chosen.

Once we understood all the services, we set about ensuring their customers did
too. Their new master logo was created as a polished evolution of their existing
logo, but we added 7 sub divisions, each with it’s own descriptors, colour
schemes, easy to understand icons and bespoke patterns.

The branding was vibrant, memorable and unified across everything Othello
produce: Catalogues, Folders, Rulers, Pens, Calendars, Business Cards, Leaflets,
Adverts, Emailers, Letters, Uniforms and much, much more! “Fabulous designers,

Branding Infographics Print Design Signage Estate Agents

Maguire Jackson have been with us since their inception in 2005. With PHd
functioning as their on call design department, they’ve gone on to (according to the
honourable Rightmove) be the biggest estate agents in Birmingham. Our design
work has been admired by their customers and competitors, and we’re always looking
to find ways to keep them leading in this rather competitive marketplace.

My oh my, we’ve done a lot of design since creating their hand crafted logo all those years
ago. We’ve developed ways to target individuals, investors, developers, sellers, vendors
and landlords through fun, serious or educational (dependent on the recipient) leaflets,
adverts, brochures and much, much more (more than you’d care to read about). We love
you guys at Maguire Jackson, we hope to still be working with you in another 15 years!

Karamelt Chocolate

Branding Packaging Chocolate

Every so often we get a really tasty job, Karamelt make alternatives to
the high street chocolates we all know and love, but using real, natural,
sustainable ingredients and they’re delicious! We had a little taste, and
then another little taste (to make sure) and knew we had to design
something special to go with this cracking range of chocolates!

The bespoke shaped box that we created helped develop a
recognisable shape, stacked well in their boxes and gave us plenty of
real estate for detailing the credentials and British heritage of the suite
of mouth-watering confectionery! It’s fair to say, this design did the
flavours proud, and their customers agreed!

Branding Infographics Home Improvement Services

If you get asked a lot, “what do you do”… then you need something to explain it all
easily. In this case a visual map of company services. With a large range of
services on offer, Homestead required an easy way of explaining all their varied
home maintenance and improvement solutions, which we had huge fun with!


Their logo was making them look trustworthy but to make them understood the
solution was a visual one, a bespoke and simple home illustration that shows all
the services, simply and quickly. This was created in an easily editable method so
that the visuals could be tailored to suit different regions, and marketing pushes.

Hidden Street Food

Branding Packaging Sauces

This start up sauce company creates vibrant flavours from around the
world and wants to offer them to people who appreciate taste. Their
passion is evident, but they were unable to show this to potential
stockists, so they came to PHd design for help.

We created them a distinctive, grungy and versatile logo with a little hidden
detail (see if you can see what we mean). However the sauce labels needed to
embody the heady and full flavours, as well as grab the imagination of a
customer looking for something a bit different. Three labels started the
range, featuring illustrations from the sauces country of origin.

Else Solicitors have used our graphic design services since 2012. During this
time, we’ve helped update their brand and implement it on everything from
adverts, brochures and signage to websites and mailers. We’re really proud of the

The sales literature

This folder and suite of 12 brochures, was designed to clarify the services Else Solicitors offer.
Solicitors services can be quite confusing, and not always the most engaging. The solution; simplify
the content, use interesting facts, tips, approachable language, interesting print techniques and
striking bespoke ‘else’ style imagery to catch the eye of recipients.

Britannic Fire & Security Systems

Branding Literature Signage Fire & Security Sector

Britannic are an established fire & security systems company based in
Solihull in the West Midlands. Their logo and branding had been
neglected for years, which was tarnishing their image, so they contacted
PHd design to help.

Britannic’s logo was a little dated and had been used inconsistently, as such their visual
image didn’t represent their very professional service. As their company was well known
already we needed to find a way to change their existing logo to look impressive,
trustworthy and sharp, while maintaining recognition of the old logo. This new logo was
then used to great effect on stationery, signage, livery, datasheets and presentations.
