The Network for Black Professionals have been a client of PHd’s for some years and they asked us to create a solution which would link the existing web solution through to their in-house day to day database (ACT!).
The solution has been produced by partnering with another NBP supplier. Together we have created a ‘translator’ solution which maps the data put in through the website and updates the database every evening, and also vice-versa. This solution allows the users to load details and even become members live on the site and then their details will be transferred to the land based system which NBP use for all communications. Overall the project has been a detailed one but also one where the end solution gives NBP exactly what it set out to achieve with the minimum amount of additional development. |
